# Omnichar Cloud overview

> Omnichar Cloud runs in your browser: sign in with Google, build a character from 1-3 photos, and generate images and video up to 4K with no GPU.

[Omnichar Cloud](https://cloud.omnichar.org) is the hosted version of Omnichar. It runs in your browser, so you don't need a GPU or an install.

## Start

**1. Sign in**

Open [cloud.omnichar.org](https://cloud.omnichar.org) and sign in with your Google account. New accounts get 300 free credits, and you don't need a card.

**2. Build a character**

Upload 1-3 photos of the person. Omnichar builds a `.char` from them. A build costs a few credits, and a failed build is free.

**3. Generate**

Pick the character, describe the scene, and choose a resolution (and a length, for video). The price shows before you run.

## What you can make

* **Images** with FLUX.2 Klein at 1K, 2K or 4K, with or without a character.
* **Video** at 480p, 768p, 2K or 4K, with or without a character.

Your runs, assets and characters stay in the dashboard. You can see your credit balance and transactions under Settings.

## Take your character elsewhere

Each character card has a **.char** download button. The file you get is the same format Omnichar Studio and the ComfyUI node read, so you can build a character in the cloud and render it on your own GPU later. See [The .char character file](/characters).

## Cost

You pay per generation in credits. One credit is one US cent, and a run that fails is not charged. See [Pricing](/cloud/pricing) for the full tables.
